Hello and Welcome!

My name is Beth Brantley-Daniels, I am the founder and owner of Bright Ideas Childcare & Learning Center. I am also the mother of 8 children, 4 girls and 4 boys. I have always envisioned Bright Ideas to be an extension of family and community to help build the foundation of children.

Our Tempe facility is a thriving learning center where my wonderful childcare specialists, including my own children Will, Helle and Peter spend our days helping children grow, learn, love and laugh!

We are a committed partner in building your child’s developmental and educational foundation. We are dedicated in providing an environment that meets the social, emotional and intellectual growth of your child.

Bright Ideas offers childcare for children 6 weeks to 12 years. Our programs are designed to fit the individual needs of each stage of development. Our curriculum Director provides each classroom with age appropriate thematic curriculum to stimulate your child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.

I understand that choosing a childcare provider is one of the most difficult decisions a parent has to make. We encourage our parents to visit anytime and to communicate regularly with our childcare specialists to monitor their child’s progress. We want to make this stressful transition as comfortable as possible. If there is anything that I can do to make you and your child’s experience positive, we will go the extra mile to meet your individual needs.

Thank you for your interest and I look forward to meeting you and your little one very soon.

Please do not hesitate to contact me directly to tour the center or ask any questions.

Sincerely Yours,

You will have two weeks a year that you will not be charged tuition. You must fill out a “Vacation Request Form” that will reserve your child’s enrollment and not be charged tuition. Please talk to the teacher or Director for “special day” treats your child would like to share.

At Bright Ideas we require all of our teachers to be First Aid and CPR certified. Fire drills are done on a regular basis to keep everyone prepared. Keeping your child safe is our number one priority. Childhood incidents and accidents are a normal part of growth and development. We will contact you in the event of an accident or minor injury. You will also be given a written report detailing what happened. If you do not receive the report, please advise the Director. In the event that your child is injured and/or required medical attention, 911 will be called. Emergency procedures are posted in every classroom, and on each exit door. First aid kits are kept in the main office and in the kitchen.

Rodica Eftimescu Cheatham

Director

My name is Rodica Eftimescu Cheatham. I am one of the directors at Bright Ideas Childcare and Learning Center. I am lucky to work with a great team of people! Working in this field is a challenge for everyone. I was a preschool teacher for a few years before and I loved it. I learned that children will show us what and how we need to teach.I was born and raised in Romania (S-E of Europe). I am coming from a small family. My parents and brother still live there. Before I came to the United States I completed three years at Babes- Bolyai University from Transylvania. I took violin classes for almost 4 years and played professional volleyball for nine years. I am a very open person. I love to interact with children and adults. I am always there to help when I can. Early childcare educators have the hardest and the greatest job. Being able to set a good foundation for the future for the children is rewarding!

Abby Willson

Director

Hello, my name is Abby Willson. I have worked for Bright Ideas since January of 2008 and have loved every minute of it. I started working in the preschool classroom before moving up front and working as one of the directors. I love to plan new and exciting things for us to do and try at Bright Ideas. I went to Central Arizona College where I studied business and a little bit of nursing, but ultimately realizing my love is working with children. I have two “children” of my own, Clay, a beautiful Border Collie and Lola, a stubborn pure bred mutt. I look forward to meeting with and talking to new people each and every day.
